The difference between Swiss grade and Japanese grade watches lies in the material of the case used as well as the movement. Japanese grade watches use 316L steel while Swiss grade watches are made with 904L steel which is more durable and rust and corrosion resistant. Swiss grade watches are made with replica machinery to match Swiss technology and standards so higher precision and finishing can be expected.

Please note: Japanese movements are relatively cheap, but they cannot realize some functions of multi-function watches, only basic time and calendar functions. If you want a multi-function watch with all functions, please choose a Swiss movement.
